Singapore Grand Prix 2023: Pit Lane Experience Tickets Available

The Singapore Grand Prix has always sold itself on access as much as spectacle. This year, fans are being invited even closer.

Ballots are now open for the Thursday Pit Lane Experience on 8 October, giving up to 4,500 people the chance to walk the famous Marina Bay Street Circuit pit lane before the race weekend roars into life.

For a few hours on Thursday night, the garages that usually sit behind security lines and TV lenses will open their shutters to the public. Fans will be able to stroll past the Formula 1 team bays, watch mechanics at work and see the cars up close as preparations ramp up for three days of racing from 9 to 11 October.

The access does not stop at the pit wall. Ticket holders for the evening can also wander through the Zone 1 F1 Village, with interactive activities laid on to turn a simple walkabout into a full pre-race festival.

Crucially, no race ticket is required to take part. The public ballot is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents, and each successful applicant will receive a pair of tickets to the Thursday Pit Lane Experience, putting an extra pass in the hands of a friend or family member.

The window is tight. The ballot closes on 18 September at 11.59pm Singapore time, with entries taken via the official website. Those who make the cut will be notified separately.

This pit lane opening sits under the RevUpSG banner, a programme designed to pull Formula 1 beyond the confines of the main race weekend and into the city’s wider calendar, building anticipation before the lights go out.

The 2026 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix will again run at Marina Bay from 9 to 11 October, with a sprint race scheduled for 10 October ahead of the signature night race on 11 October. For a select few thousand, though, the real story will start 48 hours earlier, under the pit-lane lights, with the cars silent but the tension already building.
