Zeidane Inoussa Joins Portsmouth on Loan from Swansea
Zeidane Inoussa is set to swap one promotion-chasing camp for another, with the Swansea City winger poised to join Championship rivals Portsmouth on loan for the rest of the season.
The move marks a sharp turn in fortunes for the 24-year-old. Swansea paid a significant fee to prise him from Swedish side BK Hacken last summer, banking on his direct running and pedigree as a former Sweden Under-21 international to light up the flanks in South Wales.
It never quite caught fire.
An injury-disrupted debut campaign left Inoussa with just one goal in 29 appearances, flashes of promise buried under long spells of frustration. With a contract running until 2030, Swansea are not cutting ties, but they are clearly reshaping the attacking hierarchy.
