Worthing have moved to sharpen their attacking edge with the capture of striker Jordan Young from Torquay United for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old arrives with a proven record in National League South, having scored 35 goals in 88 appearances for Torquay since joining from Yeovil Town in October 2024. It is the sort of return that turns a useful forward into a marked man at this level.

Worthing manager Adam Hinshelwood made it clear why the club pushed to get the deal done. Young is not just a finisher; he is a threat whenever the ball is still and the wall is nervous.
