Manchester United Target Sweden Winger Monica Jusu Bah
Manchester United are set to add serious pace and power to their attack, having agreed terms to sign Sweden winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Häcken.
The 23-year-old is expected to complete the move before next Thursday’s Women’s Super League transfer deadline, as United continue a late push to reshape their squad for the second half of the season.
A rising force from Sweden
Jusu Bah has spent her entire career in Sweden, first breaking through at Umeå before earning her move to BK Häcken in 2023. In Gothenburg she has grown into one of the most dynamic wide players in the Damallsvenskan, catching the eye with direct running and a relentless work rate on both sides of the ball.
Her importance to Häcken was underlined only last year. In September 2025 she signed an extension keeping her under contract until 2028, a deal that now guarantees the Swedish club a transfer fee. The exact figure remains undisclosed, but United know they are paying for both potential and pedigree.
The winger played a key role in May as BK Häcken lifted the inaugural Women’s Europa Cup, adding continental silverware to her résumé and proving she can handle high-stakes games.
International pedigree
On the international stage, Jusu Bah has already forced her way into a competitive Sweden set-up. She has made 11 appearances for the national team and featured in all six of their Women’s World Cup qualifying matches this year, trusted in a campaign where every point and every performance matters.
That level of exposure, against varied opposition and tactical styles, makes her an attractive fit for a United side trying to close the gap on the WSL’s established title contenders.
