Irish Premiership fans are set for a packed run of live action, with the next 12 games to be shown on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website confirmed – a schedule that leans heavily into title fights, old grudges and a few intriguing new stories.
The cameras first roll into Stangmore Park on Saturday, 10 October, where high-flying Dungannon Swifts host Carrick Rangers in the evening slot. It’s a ground that crackles under the lights, and a side that has started brightly getting an early chance to show whether their form is built to last.
From there, the focus swings quickly to the champions. On Friday, 16 October, defending Irish Premiership title holders Larne welcome Coleraine, a fixture that rarely drifts by quietly. It’s the kind of night where small details decide big statements.
One week later, on Friday, 23 October, the cameras follow Linfield on the road as they visit Portadown. A club with Linfield’s expectations never treats an away game as routine, and Portadown will sense the stage as much as the visitors.
The month closes with a Showgrounds showdown. On Friday, 30 October, Coleraine host Glentoran, a meeting of two clubs who expect to be in the conversation when honours are handed out. Then Coleraine step straight back into the glare: their trip to Linfield on Saturday, 7 November is another prime-time slot, another test of their staying power against one of the league’s traditional heavyweights.
