Gophers–Tommies Women’s Basketball Showdown Rescheduled

MINNEAPOLIS – The early-season meeting between the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas women’s basketball teams will tip off a day later than first planned.

The in-state clash at Williams Arena – “The Barn” by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota – has been moved from Dec. 1 to Dec. 2, keeping the matchup on the same weekend but shifting the calendar slightly for both programs and their fans.

For supporters, the path to a seat is already mapped out. Season tickets are on sale now, locking in access to every home date on the Gophers’ schedule.

• Single-game tickets roll out in waves.
• Season ticket holders get the first shot on Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. CT.
• Gopher Score members follow 24 hours later, with their window opening Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. CT.
• The wider public comes last, with single-game sales beginning Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. CT.

Tipoff time, TV and streaming details, along with the full promotional slate for the night at The Barn, will be revealed closer to game day – leaving one more layer of anticipation around a winter afternoon that now belongs to Dec. 2.
