Reports indicate the new deal will run at least until 2031, with Romano going a step further and claiming it stretches to 2032. That would place the 21-year-old in an exclusive bracket inside the dressing room. Only summer signing Yan Diomande, who arrived for a hefty €125 million and is tied down until 2033, would be committed to the club for longer.
For Güler, the imminent signature marks a clear shift in status. When he joined from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023, his original agreement ran until 2029. Back then, he was the highly touted newcomer. Now, he is being treated as a cornerstone of Madrid’s future.
