Amankwah Forson Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Loan from Norwich

Norwich City midfielder Amankwah Forson will spend the season in Israel after completing a loan move to Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

The 23-year-old only arrived at Carrow Road earlier this year, signing a four-year deal in 2024 after Norwich prised him from RB Salzburg. Now his next step takes him into a different kind of spotlight.

Forson has already packed a fair amount into his short time in Norfolk. The Ghana international has made 44 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions, chipping in with four goals and offering energy and bite in midfield.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva are not just another stop on the map. The six-time Israeli champions have booked their place in the league phase of this season’s Europa League, where they will line up against heavyweight opposition including Juventus, AFC Bournemouth and Besiktas.

For Forson, it is a loan that brings something every ambitious midfielder craves: minutes, pressure, and European football against serious names. For Norwich, it is a chance for one of their assets to sharpen his game on a demanding stage before returning to fight for a bigger role.
